Nécrologie de Ruby Isabell Hay

HAY, Ruby Isabell Peacefully went to be with her Lord and Saviour on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 in her 96th year at the Prescott Russell Residence, Hawkesbury ON. Predeceased by her parents James & MaryBell Hay and her siblings, Mansel and Carol (Ken Scharfe). She will be missed by her brother Sydney Hay (the late Wanda). Cherished and beloved aunt to Ian Hay (Kathleen), Gordon Hay (Carol), Sharon Scharfe and Rosemary Hardwich (the late Tom). Always a Glengarry girl at heart, Ruby left Brodie road for secretarial training in Ottawa during her thirties. She went on to do church office administrative work in Hamilton, London, Boston, Washington DC and New York City. It was not until her eighties that she retired back to Brodie road. She joined the Heritage Lodge Retirement community at age ninety. More recently she moved to the Prescott Russell Residence where she received excellent care.    Family and friends may pay their respects at Hillcrest Funeral Home, 151 Bond Street, Vankleek Hill, on Monday, July 10 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm.  A Funeral Service will be held at Breadalbane Baptist Church, 22015 Breadalbane Rd, Dalkeith, ON on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at 11 am. Interment to take place at East Hawkesbury United Church Cemetery, Ste Anne de Prescott, ON.
