Her loss will be felt tearfully in her grandchildren, Andrew Munroe, Kyle Morris, Cameron Lindsay, Micaela Castelli, Mae Clorey, Caleb, Jacob and Ethan Randell, Payton & Cameron Fougere, as well as her many nieces and nephews, to who she will always be, “Auntie Doe”. Dorine will be greeted at Heaven’s gate by those who left before her, her mother Catherine Gratton, father, Albert Pearson, sister-in-law, Audrey, and her grandson, Curtis Clorey. Dorine was an active member of the Catholic Women’s League and was a founding member of the CWL at St. Vincent’s Parish in Dartmouth, who just celebrated their 30th Anniversary. Dorine was retired from the Government of Nova Scotia, where she worked many years as a Financial Service Officer with the Department of Natural Resources. Dorine will be remembered by so many friends and family for her undying faith, and for a Smile that never left her. Before sickness struck her, she loved traveling with her husband, Lawrence, especially visiting her many grandchildren in Ontario, where she loved spending “quality time” color with them or teach them a new card game. A funeral service will be held at Our Lady of Divine Love Parish in Pendleton, Ontario Saturday May 13th, 2017 at 10:00am. Donations can be made in her memory to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
