Howes, Louise Germaine Unexpectedly at her home on Saturday October 22, 2016 Louise Howes (née Paquette) of Alfred, Ontario passed away at the age of 70. Predeceased by her parents René Paquette and Ange-Aimée Chartrand. Beloved wife of Donald Howes. Loving mother of Stéphane (Julie Hanna), Maude (Adrian Edmiston), Mélanie (Aliou Sene) and Marie-Andrée. Cherished and adored Grandma of Zoé Kirabo. Dear sister of Jean-Pierre Paquette (Barbara), Marie-Paule Lamarche (Pierre), Philippe Paquette (Claire) and Micheline Paquette. Predeceased by her sisters Michèle,Chantal and her brother Jacques. Fond sister-in-law of Shirley Hall, Kenneth Howes (Raymonde), Eleanor Anderson and Margaret Kopustas (Nelson). Fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may visit at Hillcrest Funeral Home 151 Bond Street, Vankleek Hill on Friday October 28,2016 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday October 29,2016 at 1 pm at Knox Presbyterian Church 29 High Street, Vankleek Hill, Ontario followed by a reception in the church hall.
