Cheeseman, Edward (August 7, 1945- April 11, 2016) Peacefully, surrounded by loved ones Ed Cheeseman passed away on Monday April 11,2016 after a long battle with cancer. Beloved son of the late Albert Cheeseman and Reta Barton of Vankleek Hill. Predeceased by his sisters Sharon Fournier and Gloria Howes (Eric Howes). Loving Uncle to Christine Fournier (Frank Kaye), Lizz Lalonde (Yves Lalonde), David Howes (Mackzine), Donald Howes (Tammy), Debbie Howes (Sylvain Sauve) and his many great-nieces and nephews. Ed returned to Vankleek Hill after his retirement in 2001 where he served as an Immigration Officer in Toronto for 30 years. Ed is a respected and loving man, known for his generosity and love for his family. He will be remembered for his sense of humor and infectious smile and will dearly be missed. The family would like to thank the wonderful caring staff at Ottawa General Hospital. An Irish wake and a private burial are planned for later this spring.
