McMeekin, Walter David Suddenly at his home on Thursday January 21,2016 Walter McMeekin of Hawkesbury passed away at the age of 89. Predeceased by his parents Walter McMeekin and Ethel Loughren. Beloved husband of 68 years to Jean (née Oswick). Proud and caring father of Barry (Anne), Judy Smith and Brian. Dearly loved grandfather of 7grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Evelyn Matthew. Predeceased by his sisters Gladys Boyd and Helen Oswick. Fondly remembered by his several nieces and nephews. A Graveside Service will be held at a later date at the Calumet Protestant Cemetery.
