When living at Bell Falls, I spent a lot of days sitting in the living room of Uncle Bob and Aunt Hilda they have a huge part of my heart even though they have passed away..Memories of Aunt Hilda giving me a suit case full of stickers and fun things a little girl would love and i did....walks to there house to get home made candy and other treats...as i got older a knitted sweater and quilts...uncle Bob either sat and talked or worked outside cutting the grass....Rest in Peace

One of my favourite memories was Halloween night. I heard Aunt Hilda made her mouth watering yummy fudge. I dressed up as an old man and pretended I was drunk . Uncle Bob answered the door he hesitated letting me in. I tried to fool them but my eyes gave me away. I was invited in and chatted with them, but the best part was I got my piece of fudge. Yummy

I met Mr. Eastwood during my nursing internship at the Lachute Hospital during the 2023 Summer. Then I had the great pleasure and honor of being one of his nurses at The Lachute Residence. He was a great man, he had a great sense of humour and I enjoyed our conversations about his life, work, family… when talking about his wife and daughters, you could feel how proud he was and the love he had for them… He will remain « my favorite Bob in the whole universe » as I called him. My deepest sympathies to all the family and friends.
