Eileen Margaret Elizabeth Hilton ~ (née Smith)

March 16, 1932 - August 10, 2024

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our Mom, Eileen Hilton, in her 93rd year. Loving mother to Anne (Donnie) and Catherine (Luciano). Awesome Nanny to Michael, Matthew (Ashley), Jeffrey and furry grandchildren Ace, Stella and Freddy. Special Aunt to Jennifer, Cynthia and Michael.

Our Mom lit up a room with her beautiful smile and warmth. She had a wonderful sense of humour and grace that was apparent right up until her final days. She was a long-time resident of Heritage Lodge where she truly felt at home and had many friends whom she cherished. A very, very special thank you to Sandra, Bernadine and all the incredible staff. Words cannot express the gratitude we feel for the compassion and respect she received there. Our thanks as well goes to the doctors, nurses and staff of the Palliative Care Unit of Hawkesbury General Hospital who provided excellent care for our Mom in her final days. You are a very special team!

A private family gathering will be held in Eileen's honour at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in her memory to the Heritage Lodge Recreation Fund 48 Wall St. Vankleek Hill, ON K0B 1R0 or to the Hawkesbury and District General Hospital Foundation.

To honour Eileen's memory, a Tree of Remembrance will be planted in the McAlpine Forever Forest in Vankleek Hill.
