Nécrologie de Inez Evelyn MacDonald
Mrs. Inez Evelyn MacDonald (née Morrin) passed away peacefully at the age of 83 at the Lancaster Long Term Care Residence surrounded by family and close friends.
Inez was predeceased by her loving husband Elmer MacDonald, her parents George Morrin and Clara Howes as well as her brother Ivan Morrin (Theresa 'Terry' Morrin).
Inez was a much loved aunt of Kim O'Connor-Morrin (David) of Kanata, Kelly Savage-Morrin of Vankleek Hill, Brent Morrin (Tracy) of Lochinvar, Warren MacDonald of Alexandria, Stanton MacDonald (Helen) of Shellbrook SK, Ewen MacDonald (Audrey) of Kirkhill and Glenda Brooks (Greg) of Oshawa.
In addition to Inez's and Elmer's love of animals and farming, Celtic music was in their blood. Inez's relatively small biological family was hugely expanded through the community of Glengarry Celtic music. For years Inez supported and encouraged the great talents of her husband and brothers-in-law (The Dougie Boys), who were renowned local musicians.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated staff at Lancaster Long Term Care Residence for their support, understanding and compassionate care.
As per Inez's wishes, a private family burial will be held at a later date.
For those who wishing to donate in memory of Inez, please consider a donation to the Alzheimer's Society.
A Tree of Remembrance for Inez will be planted in the McAlpine Forever Forest in Vankleek Hill.
