Nécrologie de Margaret Woodhouse
It is with sadness in our hearts that we share the gentle passing of Margaret Elizabeth Woodhouse (née Brown) on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at the Prescott and Russell Residence in Hawkesbury, Ontario, at the age of 94. She leaves behind a profound sense of loss. Through our sadness, we take solace in celebrating her remarkable life.
Margaret was a gifted and accomplished artist, exploring various mediums with finesse, from oil painting, painting with acrylics, collage, pen and ink, etching, charcoal, and pastels, to sculpture, and most recently, wood carving; she excelled in all.
She was a loving, caring, and generous wife to her husband, Allan Graham (Woody), who predeceased her in 2018. A loving mother to Mav Hall (Bill) and Wayne Woodhouse.
Her role as grandmother to Jamie (Julia) Hall, Christopher (Ania) Hall, Tyler, and Michael Woodhouse brought her immense joy, as did her great-grandchildren Erin, Simon, William (Liam), and twins Aleksander and Jacob. Margaret's gentle spirit and creative legacy will continue to inspire all those whose lives she touched.
We are deeply grateful for the compassionate care provided by the staff of the Prescott and Russell Residence, who surrounded Margaret with warmth, kindness and loving care. A private family memorial will take place.
For those who wish, donations to the Prescott and Russell Residence Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
A Tree of Remembrance will be planted in the McAlpine Forever Forest in Vankleek Hill.
Funeral arrangements in the care of Hillcrest Funeral Home, 151 Bond Street, Vankleek Hill, Ontario. (613)-678-2002.
