Mrs. Allen (as I always referred to her) was my elementary school bus driver. She was always so kind and loving. I remember her treating us to ice cream on the bus at the end of the school year. It's something I always looked so forward to! Years later, I would often run into her in town or at a craft show. She was one of the most beautiful people I knew both inside & out. Thinking of you all at this difficult time ♥

An amazing lady who will be missed but never forgotten ❤️

I remember when they moved in next door onto the property that had been our apple orchard-watching their house arrive and be "installed". As a little girl I was always welcomed into their home pretty much anytime I popped over. She and Poppa Dean were always so fun to visit. Even after we left and moved to BC the door was always open for a visit on my returns home to VKH.

The Allen's always treated us like long lost family. Fond memories of her "loaning" us a kitten after Muffin had a litter...our little screatchie was home to stay. Visits home to the Hill will no longer be the same

I am so very sorry for the loss of your amazing Mom and Gigi. Her smile lit up a room and her heart was always open. I loved watching her with her grandkids and seeing her love for her great grandkids was just a joy
