Nécrologie de Richard Brunet

Le vendredi 15 décembre 2023, à l'Hôpital général de Hawkesbury et du district, Richard Brunet, de Vankleek Hill, est décédé à l'âge de 73 ans à la suite d'une courageuse bataille contre le cancer.

Il laisse dans le deuil son épouse bien-aimée, Marie-Claire, avec qui il a partagé 52 merveilleuses années de mariage. Il est le père chéri de Chantal Sauve (Mike) et de Michel (Chantal Chartrand). Il était le "G.P." amusant de Kyle, Dominic et Kari-Anne, qu'il appelait affectueusement "Sunshine". Il était le frère de Raymond (Marielle) et d'Yvon (Carole). Il manquera à ses nièces et neveux, ainsi qu'à sa belle-famille de la famille Duval. Prédécédé par ses parents, Roméo et Ida Brunet.

La famille désire exprimer sa gratitude au personnel de l'Hôpital général de Hawkesbury et du district, au Dr Landa, au Dr Bender, aux infirmières et aux ambulanciers paramédicaux de Prescott Russell pour les soins exceptionnels qu'ils ont prodigués.

 Conformément aux souhaits de Richard, une inhumation familiale privée aura lieu au cimetière catholique St-Grégoire, à Vankleek Hill.

Un arbre du souvenir pour Richard sera planté dans la Forêt de l'Éternité McAlpine, à Vankleek Hill.

Peacefully at the Hawkesbury and District General Hospital on Friday, December 15, 2023, Richard Brunet of Vankleek Hill passed away after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 73.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Marie-Claire, with whom he shared 52 wonderful years of marriage. Cherished father to Chantal Sauve (Mike) and Michel (Chantal Chartrand). He was a fun loving “G.P.” to Kyle, Dominic, and Kari-Anne, whom he affectionately called "Sunshine". Dear brother to Raymond (Marielle) and Yvon (Carole). He will be missed by nieces, nephews, and his in-laws of the Duval Family. Predeceased by his parents, Romeo and Ida Brunet. 

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the Hawkesbury and District General Hospital staff, Dr. Landa, Dr. Bender, the nurses, and the Paramedics of Prescott Russell for their exceptional care.

In honouring Richard's wishes, a Private Family Inurnment will take place at St. Grégoire's Catholic Cemetery, Vankleek Hill.

A Tree of Remembrance for Richard will be planted in the McAlpine Forever Forest, Vankleek Hill.
