Dear Stewart: I just recently I learned of Douglas' passing. We have lost the Irvine family archivist. Thankfully, I took some notes during our lengthy conversations, but only Douglas would know if the dates were correct and the information complete. I will miss those calls. Sending your our sincere condolences, Stewart. We loved Douglas' enthusiasm for all things Irvine and the way he cared for the land and for you and Dorothy (who I am sure is pleased to be reunited with Douglas). You must miss him terribly. I never met Douglas but we had several phone calls when Dorothy (Ms. Irvine) was in hospice. He was a lovely man to speak with.
