Nécrologie de Grant Arthurs

Suddenly at the Hawkesbury General Hospital on Monday March 6, 2023, after a brief illness, Grant Arthurs of Vankleek Hill formerly of Chute à Blondeau passed away at the age of 92. Predeceased by his parents William Arthurs and Dora Kelly. Beloved and devoted husband of 70 years to Jean (nee Kirby). Proud and caring father of Kirby (Debbie), Ken (Lori) and Kim (Larry Brack). Dearly loved Poppa of Kelly (Alex Nikolaev), Ryan, Megan and Christy. Fond great-grandfather of Shay, Quinn, and Jack. Dear brother of Ferne Purdy, Evelyn Burwash and Everett Arthurs. Predeceased by his sister Ethel Hand and his brother Irwin Arthurs. He will be sadly missed by his nieces and nephews. Grant's interests were simple; he loved spending time with family, having quiet conversations with his friends and neighbours. He always enjoyed Jean's homemade cooking. Grant had a passion for Belgian Horses, auction sales, tractors and enjoyed tinkering with his garden equipment.

A Service of Remembrance will be held on Friday, March 24, 2023 at 2:00 pm at the Chute à Blondeau Community Centre, 2005 Main Street, Chute à Blondeau followed by a Celebration of Grant's Life until 5 pm.

In memory of Grant, a donation to the Riverview Cemetery would be appreciated.
