My earliest life memory is with Freda. Our mothers were sisters and to me Freda was the best! She told me that when we lived as one household (1951) on River Rd in Niagara Falls, she would love to take me for long walks along River Rd , me in my big British pram. And then her braveness taking me with her to Scotland by ship in 1955, we stayed with our grandparents. And her beautiful wedding, me as the little flower girl. We, the Mills children were so lucky to have Freda and Leslie in our world. Spending summers with them at the Bell. She taught me many wonderful things about life. Especially never to judge, be kind and helpful. I will always smile when I think of her. Brynn, Tracey, Douglas and Fraser, I am so sorry for your loss of a wonderful mom. Love, Sandy

Freda was a part of my life for as long as I can remember. In fact, Leslie drove my Mom to the hospital when I was born and he always joked about "regretting that drive". I will always remember Freda's laugh when I would call her "Mrs. Campbell" and ask if Tracey could sleep over. I don't think she ever said no! I picture her rolling her eyes and laughing whenever we were together. Freda lived her life doing for others and we all pray that she knew how much she was loved and appreciated.
