A Tree of Remembrance was planted in memory of Debbie in the McAlpine Forever Forest by Mark and Lisa Henderson and the staff of Hillcrest Funeral Home.
Megan,Emily and Taylor, my deepest condolences for the loss of a great Mom! She was always very proud of you! Take care of each other!
Eddy and I are heartbroken. We had so many good times together and always sang like there was no tomorrow. Rest in peace friend. Till we meet again. Hugs, kisses to all her family.
My condolences to the family, may she rest in peace.
I will miss our chats and our common passion for our furrbabies. You were a beautiful and kind person and we will all miss you so much xox
She loved our gardens flowers, we lived just down the road from them. She came with her old van and I made sure she took anything she wanted - there were so many flowers of all types. She left our house that day with a big smile on her face and I will never forget that day. Miss you sweet heart. Thank you for being our friend that put a smile on our faces as well. Debbie and I first met in the 70's through our mothers. We hung out, listened to music, and rode our bikes around the town of Rock Forest. Within a few years, my family moved away and we lost contact. We somehow ended up 40 years later living a few km away from each other in Ontario. When we met again, it was like we had been friends all these years in between. She was an outgoing and talented lady who had so much still to give to this world. So sad to see you go. Wishing Steve, Emily, Megan, Taylor, and all of her family and friends to remember the fun times and the laughs I'm sure she gave you all. Sending my wishes for healing to you all.
Debbie was an amazing woman, full of life and love, you will be missed by all. My deepest sympathy to the family. Take care wuzzle, we will all meet again someday.
I am so grateful to have had the opportunity in this short life to have met and become friends with Debbie. She was and always will be an inspiration to many of us as a kind hearted, fun loving, passionate beautiful soul.
I will miss her so much and
May she shine bright forever in our hearts and memories. ♡
My sincere condolences to the entire family on this shocking turn of events. I had the pleasure of singing backup to Debbie with her band for about a year. Her strong voice and lively smile will surely be missed.
My deepest condolences to the whole family. Debbie was like a mother to be and will be very missed by all. I’m so thankful I have so many great memories that I will cherish forever. Love you D forever.
I had the honour of experiencing her marvelous voice with the band, "Top of the Hill", on a weekly basis. As I painted the mural in the Holland building, the band would practise and I would thoroughly enjoy being entertained by them. Debbie even had me join in and sing with her! I can't sing worth beans but she was very gracious and allowed my poor attempt at joining in. We got to bond over our love of music and I will miss her smile and her passion. My deepest sympathies......
I am so sorry for your loss. I don't know what else to say.
