Nécrologie de Glenrose Rainey

It is with saddened hearts that we announce on Tuesday, January 25,2022 peacefully at home, with her family by her side Glenrose Rainey (nee Forget) of Vankleek Hill passed away after a brief battle with cancer at the age of 73.  Predeceased by her parents Leon Forget and Lila Cleland. Devoted and beloved wife of 53 years to James Rainey. Caring and loving mother of Nancy Hamelin (Jonathan), Shawn (Annie) and Jamie (Tanya). Very special and much-loved grandmother of Connor, Riley, Bryar, Emma-Rose, Liam and Jackson. Dear sister of George, Lee, Garry (Lisa), Ricky and Diane. Fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed by the Rainey family.

Glenrose was the hub of her family.  She took great pride in raising her family. She especially loved her grandchildren and was involved in all their busy lives, whether it was looking after them, going to one of their sports games, driving them to a function or just spending time visiting with them.  She was a fabulous cook, and her signature baked macaroni dish was a favourite at family potlucks.

Due to the current circumstances a Celebration of Glenrose's Life will be held at later date.

In memory of Glenrose, a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society 55 St Clair Avenue West, Suite 500 Toronto, Ontario M4V 2Y7 would be appreciated by the family.
