My condolences to all who knew and loved Doug…an wonderful man!

Doug and I crossed paths many, many times over the years we both worked at Bell Canada. On many occasions he’d help me out with power issues, as I worked evenings and weekends most often and he would be called in to help resolve a situation. He always made me smile, as I’m doing now thinking about what a colourful guy he was!

When we retire we often loose track of each other… I’m sorry we didn’t stay in touch. My thoughts are with you all now.

RIP Doug Maclaurin...you were my first friend back in VKH...I bought my first bicycle from you and painted it flat blue...I remember you had a couple of NSU scooters, one you painted green and took them apart every fall and brought them down to the basement to clean and work on all winter...so glad to have reconnected with you in Richmond at the Blue Diamond a couple of years ago...condolences to friends and family...
