Nécrologie de Howard MacRae

On Saturday, August 14, 2021, at The Palace Long Term Care Residence in Alexandria, Howard MacRae of Vankleek Hill passed away at 85 years old. He leaves behind his wife Micheline (née Saucier) and their two children Ronald and Louise. Dear grandpa of Emma, Jacob, Nicholas, Leeah, Carter, Cole, and Maggie. He also leaves his sisters, Ruby Cullen (Earle) Lily Bissonnette (Leo), Claire Hunter and Heather Golding (William). Predeceased by his parents Roderick R. MacRae and Helen Durant and by his sisters Ann Cousineau-Allen, Alexina MacPherson (late Arnold) and his infant sister Patricia. He will be remembered by many relatives.

In respect of Howard’s wishes, a Private Burial will take place at a later date.

For those who wish to make a donation in memory of Howard, donations to your local Food Bank or to The Palace Long Term Care Residence in Alexandria would be appreciated. 

The family would like to thank the Staff at the Palace Long-Term Care Residence for their kindness and wonderful care they have shown to Howard and all the residents.

A Tree of Remembrance for Howard will be planted in the McAlpine Forever Forest.
