At home, surrounded by loved ones, Edith Marguerite Bouter (nee Jost) went to be with her Lord and Saviour on Wednesday, May 6, 2020 in her 76th year.  Edith passed away peacefully after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Edith will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 52 years, Alfred Bouter. Devoted mother of Lydia (Tim), Liz (Thomas), Johanna (David), Marie (Arnold), Lucas (Laura), and Ruth. Cherished grandmother of Wyatt, Brett, Crystal, Bethany, Simon, Andrew, Grace, Elliot, Emma, Nathan, Neil, Madelynn, Nicholas, Jacob and Amelia. Edith will be sadly missed by her sister Vreni Nicolet (Francis). Fondly remembered by her nephews and their families as well as many extended family members, the L'Orignal Christian Assembly and friends in Ontario, Quebec, Nova Scotia and outside Canada. Due to the COVID 19 pandemic restrictions, there will not be a public funeral service at this time.  A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date. With special thanks to the professional care of the doctors and nurses who went above and beyond throughout her 24 years of treatment. In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation can be made in memory of Edith to Precepts Ministries, Ottawa Hospital General Campus Cancer Clinic and the Hawkesbury General Hospital Foundation.
