Unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, October 16,2019. Glenn Stewart of Alexandria passed away at the age of 69. Predeceased by his parents Bill Stewart and Nellie Miller. Dearly loved brother of Jim (Myrna), Wayne (Carolyn), Winston (Denise), Abigail Stewart Haines, Catherine Benfield (Hartley), William (Patricia), Arthur (Johanne), and Brenda MacKenzie. Predeceased by his sister Barbara Dobson and Sarah. Dear uncle of many nieces and nephews. Glenn will be sadly missed by his many friends in Alexandria and especially his extended family at the Atlantic Pub and Eatery where he worked as a cook. Relatives and friends may visit at the Hillcrest Funeral Home 151 Bond Street, Vankleek Hill on Monday, October 21, 2019 from 1 to 2 pm followed by a Graveside Service at the Alexandria United Church Cemetery at 2:30 pm. A reception will be held at the Atlantic Pub & Eatery at 3 pm. In memory of Glenn, a donation to Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada or the Ontario SPCA Stormont Dundas & Glengarry Branch would be appreciated by the family.
