Our hearts are broken and we are deeply saddened to share the news of the passing of Kevin Allen of Vankleek Hill. On Saturday afternoon May 25, 2019, doing what he loved on his family farm at the age of 58.  Kevin had a strong passion for farming and being on his land and had a greater love for his family.  He will be deeply missed by his loving wife and best friend Ingrid (née Clausen). A proud and extraordinary father of Amanda (Tyler), Benjamin (Sydney), and Andrea (Neil).  Fun, loving, and adored grandpa of Holden, Corbin and Lincoln. Dearly loved son of Murray and Shirley Allen (née Barton). Much loved brother of Kimberley (Bob), Kenda, Valerie, Kelley (Tammy), and Trevor (Yolanda). He was a fond son-in-law of the late Carl and Dora Clausen and a special brother-in-law to Caroline (Danny McArthur). Loved and sadly missed by his many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and numerous friends who will all miss his contagious smile and hearty laugh. When Kevin did take a break from the farm, you might catch him enjoying time on the dance floor or playing broomball, hockey or curling. 
Family and friends may visit at Hillcrest Funeral Home 151 Bond Street, Vankleek Hill on Saturday, June 1, 2019 from 7 to 10 pm and Sunday, June 2, 2019 from 1 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. A Celebration of Kevin’s Life will be held on Monday, June 3, 2019 at 11 am at Knox Presbyterian Church 29 High Street, Vankleek Hill.  To honour Kevin’s dedication for the dairy industry donations to the Ontario Dairy Youth Trust Fund in Eastern Ontario, PO Box 610 Brantford, Ontario N3T 5R4 would be appreciated by his family.
