My family has been blessed and has grown since Chris became our friend. Almost everyday for many years, he joined us for a morning coffee. We moved and he still showed up, and shared his life with us. He shared his stories, his joys and his day to day with us. He helped us through our hard times and laughed with us in our good ones.
We have had many discussions of faith, family and friendship.We would talk about plants, birds and family. And as our friendship grew we looked forward to his visits. Our sons Deric and Jeremy went to school together and Jeremy was part of us before we even knew Chris. Meanwhile he became our son Alexis' friend.
I am so grateful for the memories and to the new ones ahead with dear Rhoda.
We will miss him dearly.
