We all have so many fond memories of Uncle Don!

To the family,
We would like to extend our condolences to the family. I met Donald in the Heritage and liked visiting with him.
A Tree of Remembrance was planted by Mark and Lisa Henderson and the Hillcrest Funeral Home Staff.
Don was my Circles sidekick. I treasure our service-planning teas and discussion. I was always amazed by his extensive knowledge of the Bible which he viewed through his impish sense of humour. And the heavenly choir now has an excellent tenor. My condolences to the family.
Our sincere sympathy to the Cunning family.
Offering deepest condolences on the passing of Donald. Sad to learn of the passing of another Singing Farmer member ... how much fun we had singing together and enjoying many good times. Don always greeted me with a smile and a hug long after we stopped regular appearances as a group. A friend forever ... so grateful for his smiles. May he rest peacefully, and sing loudly in his next place.
Our condolences to all of Donald’s family. Our thoughts are with you all.
So sorry to read about Don's passing today. Sadly, it seems like the end of an era. My first memories of Don are at Whist parties in Pointe Fortune United Church Hall (1950's), lawn socials on St. David's United Church lawn (1960's), dances at the Bonnie Glen and multiple family gatherings. My last memory was in the Heritage when I stopped to say hello as he was finishing his meal. Always the same - always a smile, a big "hello" and a treasure trove of local history stories. He will be missed!
There are many great memories from Don's life on the farm, his work at Stardale Cheese Factory and Zion United Church at Barb.
Our sincere condolences to each and every member of the Cunning family.
Very sorry to hear this news. I remember trick or treating at his farmhouse. My condolences to the family.
Sincere sympathy to the family on the loss of Donald. He had very kind heart. He was always ready to share a laugh. My late parents, particularly my mother, enjoyed his company and card playing. Farewell Donald.
So sorry to hear of Don's passing. I have known him since forever from our almost daily visits to Grandpa Ward's next door to the Cunning farm. Always a smile and a chuckle and also when I met him on return visits to Vankleek Hill he always had time to chat and share the news. A very kind, gentle man.
Our sincere sympathies to all his family members. Another one of our community members has left us. May he be enjoying many Bridge and Euchre games with family and friends in Heaven. He enjoyed singing and I remember his strong voice at the Heritage Lodge church services.
Our deepest sympathy to the family
My condolences to Donald's family, I can honestly say I have known Donald my entire life, I will remember him as a kind man, always had a smile, and loved to sing and have fun. His friends will and family will miss him for sure.
Very sorry for your loss.
Karen
