Sproule, Norma Marion Peacefully at the Community Nursing Home in Alexandria on Friday, September 5, 2014 Norma Sproule (née Holtby) formerly of Hawkesbury passed away at the age of 88. Predeceased by her parents, James W. Holtby and Mary Lillian Murray. Beloved wife of the late Howard Sproule. Proud and loving mother of Louise Sproule (Jean Sarrazin). Adored grandmother (Nannie) of Amelia Sproule. Dear sister of Faith (the late Jack Sully) of Edmonton. Predeceased by her sister Louisa Higginson (John) and her brothers Albert “Bud”, (Emma), Lennox (Jean), John (Phyllis) and Lawrence. Survived by her sister-in-law, Betty Holtby. Fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews. Norma was a devoted member of Holy Trinity Anglican Church of Hawkesbury. Friends may pay their respects at Hillcrest Funeral Home 151 Bond Street, Vankleek Hill, Ontario on Friday, September 12, 2014 from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, 440 Stanley Street, Hawkesbury.
