Our condolences on the passing of Sheila. We have many fond memories of our families growing up together in Chateauguay.
My the Lord comfort you and your families in the coming days.
Sheila Paterson means a lot to me and the student ministry InterVarsity Christian Fellowship. She’s one of the few people I know whom I can count on to pray and support students in encountering God.
My prayer to the family:
"I pray that out of his glorious riches
he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being,
so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith.
And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love,
may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people,
to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ,
and to know this love that surpasses knowledge
—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God."

To all of Sheila's family:
Our deepest condolences to all of you. You're in our thoughts
and prayers in these very difficult times.
We had the pleasure of meeting her at the Church diners.
She had many talents, but her handmade knitted afghans
she proudly distributed to us on our birthday, is a souvenir
we will cherish for ever. She will always be in our hearts.

Sheila was a sweet friend of mine and a lovely Christian woman, whom I met when I lived in Hawkesbury. We attended the same church. We telephoned often just to catch up on one another. However, when my son, Eric, was diagnose with cancer, Sheila called more often to find out how he was. I would call her as well to chat and then another shock as she was not well. We shared many things, just between the two of us. A friend from Hawkesbury called to tell me that Sheila died on May 12, the same day my son died. My heart goes out to you all. You must be a wonderful family as Sheila was a wonderful person. May God bless you all.
